Rolwes & Co. is a homebuilder in Saint Louis who contacted me to help promote end of the year sales with their "Free Great Room" promotion. Every family that built a new starter home received a free bonus room for the customer to design however they liked.

Some people call it a Great Room, others prefer to call it a Bonus Room, Rec Room, Playroom for the kids, or a Family Room. Call it whatever you want! Use it however you want! This area of your new Rolwes home is your blank canvas to create memories that will last a lifetime. Consider it our Christmas gift to all our new Rolwes family members who are purchasing a home this year. We cooked up a few names to get you started, just sayin’!
A Great Christmas/Holiday Room
Put your Christmas tree in the Great Room! This part of the house has plenty of space for the entire extended family, including friends and neighbors, to gather around the biggest tree you can get!Imagine opening presents in this amazing part of your new home and looking out the windows to watch the snow fall. Suddenly the biggest room in the house is also the coziest. Before you know it, you’ll be overhearing your children tell their kids about holidays when they were younger.The Great Room isn't just a room, it's part of your family... an integral part of every memory and story.

A Great Family Room
You may want to call it the Family Room, that special room that brings parents and children together all year round whether it's after school, work, or just running around. where everyone gathers after dinner to play games, watch movies, or just catch up with one another. It’ll be that “go- to” room where there’s something for everybody. It's that warm, inviting part of the home where you can let your guard down, feel safe, and rejuvenate for the next day.
The Great Room is the "Imaginarium"

It can be the designated rec room or kids' room, a place for children to spread out their toys and play. It could be the place where neighbors gravitate, classmates come for parties, or teammates celebrate a win.

It could be the room for parties; a place to entertain family, friends, and neighbors (and all our communities have great neighbors!) for holidays, birthdays, and other special family events. It's a place to serve pizza to the kids, or an area to gather and enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine before heading to the dining room for dinner.
